Workshops

Workshop

The Center's workshops support our alumni and others as change-agents within their own communities, coalitions and organizations. These workshops focus on different topics and can also be tailored to an organization’s needs. For both organizations and for individuals, we regularly lead workshops on:

Transformational Leadership Workshop, our introductory workshop to whole communities work and how people can be more effective agents of change within their organizations and communities.

Conservation in a New Nation Workshop,  a workshop specifically for conservation organizations to explore their role in their community and their aspirations to broaden bases of support and build new alliances. Also see our 2042 Today Initiative.

Finding the Story Workshop, a workshop for individuals and organizations seeking to find a more compelling narrative to be a positive force for change.

Whole Communities Workshop, a process designed for communities and organizations to help them foster innovation and collaboration from different sectors of environmental and social movements that are necessary to address the complexity of today’s challenges.

Whole Measures Workshop, a workshop in collaboration with Interaction Institute for Social Change that provides skills in implementing the 10 values-based practices detailed in Whole Measures. Combines learning in facilitative leadership, the practive of dialogue, and the ground-breaking content of Whole Measures.

To find out more about any of these workshops and how you might book one for your organization, please contact us. Please also see our calendar for a list of workshops scheduled so far for this year, some of which are open to individuals.

“Already, the board and staff have begun to speak confidently about the future of our organization. It is as if our work to date was somewhat mysterious and difficult to put words to. Now, after the workshop, it is all too clear what our purpose is and where we need to go.”  -Bill Leahy, Executive Director, Big Sur Land Trust
