8th Annual Harvest and Courage Celebration

Sunday, October 10, 2010
10am-3pm
Knoll Farm, Fayston, VT (Directions)
Harvest and Courage is a public celebration of land and community. It is a gathering together of the harvest, of friends and neighbors, and of artists and activists from afar - to find inspiration and collective courage.
This year featuring:
- Brenda Palms-Barber, visionary green leader and community organizer who started a large beekeeping business in the heart of Chicago to provide jobs for former prisoners. She will speak about urban farming, re-building hope, and courage.
- Jeh Kulu West African Dance and Drum Theater and other musicians
- 350.org Work Party activities in solidarity with thousands around the world.
In addition to art and music, there will be children’s activities around the farm, mural painting, bike drive and painting party for Mad River Bikes, and a hearty local harvest lunch for all who come.

Harvest and Courage is free and open to all, but advance registration is required. Register here or call us at 802-496-5690.
